title: Packed!
Went out on Wednesday to celebrate my mum's birthday (which was last Friday haha). We had Sakae Buffet. I love the mango avocado temaki man! Anyway we went to Zara and there was this angmoh woman trying on this pair of super high very strappy heels and I immediately fell in love with them. I tried them and they looked so awesome and I thought ok I shall wear these for prom! But they're over 200 bucks. So I just KIV-ed them and left.
But now I keep thinking about them even though I've already bought another Steve Madden pair I think I might be wearing for prom. Yknow what? I think I might just go back and buy them somehow even though they cost quite a bomb. That's how much I like them! Heh.
I paid a visit to Starbucks yesterday and that was my first time in a veeeeeery long long time because I don't drink coffee and I think a lot of people just go there to, I dunno, be cool? We had to go there for our Geog field investigation and it was absolutely necessary to sit down and have a drink. So I shared a Java Chip with Sam (of course there was only a very small percentage of coffee in it) and it was so nice that I now understand why people are willing to pay 6 bucks and above for a small cup of brown liquid with whipped cream. There's something(s) inside this brown liquid that makes it DELICIOUS. You just might catch me returning to Starbucks again to spend $6.30 on another cup :O I'm kinda happy that future visits are necessary for our field studies >)
We rushed for hip-hop at Jitterbugs and after that was this private movie showcase by a Singapore director. 老师's contact is the director's co-producer (who taught in RG for a short while haha) so he got us tickets :D The director and movie cast was there and we got a picture with Nick Shen (: Haha. The event was at this place called Old School on Mount Sophia and we had to climb about a hundred or so steps to get there. It's quite an artsy *in Calvin's gay accent* and cool place with pretty nice scenery and the whole experience was quite an eye-opener. So next time if we want to produce a movie we can just send an email to 老师's contact (: COOL.
That was my (Wednesday and) packed Friday :D
